New Safe Arrival System Officially Starts Monday!

Just a reminder that our new Safe Arrival System officially starts on Monday.

Below is some important additional information that all parents/guardians need to know:

  1. As of Monday, October 3, 2016, ALL absence and late arrival reporting MUST be reported through the new Safe Arrival System. Please DO NOT contact or send notes to the school or classroom teacher to report an absence or late arrival. The new Safe Arrival System will send automated phone calls out to everyone whose child is late or absent from school if it has not been reported through the new system. The message will say that your child is absent from school, even after your child is safe in class. It is extremely important that ALL lates and absences are reported through the new Safe Arrival System.
  2. If your child arrives late to school and you have not reported their late arrival through the new Safe Arrival System, you will receive an automated phone call telling you that your child is absent from school, even after your child is safely in class. To avoid receiving this phone call, parents/guardians need to report their child’s late arrival through the new Safe Arrival System, or make sure that your child arrives to school on time before the morning bell rings at 8:12am.
  3. If school buses are cancelled due to inclement weather but the school remains open, parents must still report their child’s absence through the new Safe Arrival System.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
